WhY Borders Perrin & Norrander should Hire Me
To the hiring team at Border, Perrin, & Norrander,
I built this web page to detail my interest in the Integrated Producer position at the agency. BP&N has been a historic agency in the industry and it would be an honor to fit into a segment of that history.
This last year I have been working for a national group called Advance Digital locally branded as The Oregonian Media Group, filling the role of Producer and Account Executive. This has given me the opportunity to manage more than 75 client accounts and be responsible for bringing in new business. Within these projects was the development of multi-level marketing campaigns. Whether it was video content distribution, programmatic marketing, media buys, web development campaigns, SEO/SEM strategy, or overall branding, I had my hands in it. Working with numbers has been my forte, with both developing budgets and proposals for advertisers as well as working within the ad network exchange to place ad campaigns competitively.
The previous four years I founded and ran a small creative company that was responsible for the cultivation of digital media assets for small and enterprise organizations. This had me filling diverse roles such as producing/shooting/editing video assets, utilizing many social media platforms for distribution and brand development, compiling adventure photography, and working in a creative leadership role to facilitate relevant organic content.
To date my professional career has allowed me to develop expertise in multiple adobe suite graphic design programs which has paired well with my photography work layouts. My editing skills and post-production workfows are on point as well as I have been the key person for many robust video production projects. One of my noted accomplishments in this realm was when I produced, shot, and edited over 150 education videos with Bellissimo Coffee Advisors with a team of video professionals.
In my free time I volunteer with two non-profit organizations; The Surfrider Foundation and Warm Current that allow me to give back to the community. Seeing Border Perrin and Norrander's commitment to working with The Surfrider Foundation on the Rise Above Plastics campaign gets me even more excited for an opportunity like this one. A mix of both revenue boosting clients and non-profit work makes for a great internal culture.
